This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a small, collaborative HR team, playing a key role in supporting and coaching managers across the business. As HR Advisor, you will provide practical, hands-on HR support, with a strong focus on employee relations. You will work closely with managers to guide them through people issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Advising and coaching managers on all employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance, and capability
Supporting investigations, hearings, and appeals, ensuring best practice is followed
Providing clear and pragmatic HR advice aligned to employment law and company policies
Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across site operations
Supporting wider HR initiatives as part of the HR team
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR or HR Advisor role
CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred)
Strong experience managing a wide range of employee relations cases
The confidence to coach and influence managers at all levels
A practical, solutions-focused approach, ideally with experience in construction, engineering, or a similar fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
