Come and join the People Team at our head office in Thame. You will work as part of a team who are regionally aligned with responsibility for supporting our colleagues and advising our managers on a range of HR processes such as managing attendance, long term sickness, probation and right to work. You’ll work closely with our regional People Business Partners to ensure compliance and best practice is maintained.
Job Responsibility:
Support managers with day-to-day people processes such as absence, AWOL, probation, and flexible working requests
Advise on people policies and low-level employee relations cases
Guide managers through all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit
Provide coaching on best practices
Manage attendance cases, track data, and identify trends to inform business decisions
Ensure compliance with employment legislation
Drive a best in class mentality
Keep colleagues at the heart of all decisions
Requirements:
Confident in advising line managers
Experience in solving people-related queries
Good understanding of HR policies and employment law
Experience in absence or attendance management
Experience handling flexible working requests
Strong organisational skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage data, spot trends, and provide actionable insights
