Morson Edge is pleased to be partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Interim HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a full-time opportunity offering excellent exposure within a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for an emerging HR professional looking to broaden their experience across the full HR function, with a particular focus on developing employee relations expertise. Working closely with the wider HR team, you will gain hands-on involvement in a variety of HR activities, building confidence in managing employee relations cases while providing support and guidance to both managers and employees on policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contractual changes and documentation
Support managers with best practice in people management and HR procedures
Provide clear and practical advice on a range of HR matters
Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary issues, grievances, and long-term absence
Support the review and continuous improvement of HR policies alongside the HR Manager
Identify opportunities to enhance management capability through coaching and upskilling
Assist with organisational change initiatives and embed effective HR practices
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required
Requirements:
Previous experience within an HR function (e.g. HR Administrator, Coordinator, or Junior Advisor)
Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Currently studying towards, or holding, a CIPD qualification
