We’re looking for a hands-on HR generalist who loves variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering great service. You’ll work closely with our Group HR Director and HR Advisor and wider team to provide efficient, people-focused support across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and training to employee relations and TUPE.
Job Responsibility:
Be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR and employee relations queries
Support and guide managers through disciplinary, grievance, and absence processes
Manage end-to-end onboarding and induction for all new starters
Take the lead on TUPE transfers, ensuring smooth transitions
Deliver engaging training sessions for line managers on key HR topics
Support recruitment, HR data management, and reporting via HRIS/ATS
Provide cross-cover for HR Advisor during absence
Help manage our apprenticeship levy and relationships with training providers
Requirements:
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) with 2 to 3 years’ generalist HR experience
Confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels
Experienced in multi-site, fast-paced environments
Detail-focused, discreet, and naturally collaborative
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North
