Morson Edge is partnering with a successful Facilities Management Business in Leeds to find a hands-on HR Advisor/HR Generalist to join this small, friendly team. This is a 6-month fixed term contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will be responsible for providing practical, day-to-day HR support across the business. This is a busy, fast-paced role, ideal for someone who is confident, resilient, and able to get stuck-in.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and support disciplinary, sickness, and capability matters
Provide clear, practical HR advice to managers
Train and upskill managers on core HR topics and best practice
Act as a first point of contact for employee queries
Draft and issue contracts, contract amendments, pay letters, and related documentation
Lead and support employee wellbeing initiatives
Drive and promote the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) agenda
Support the go-live and implementation of a new HR system
Requirements:
A strong HR generalist with experience across employee relations
Confident advising managers and dealing with issues independently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
Proactive, organised, and not easily fazed
Practical, solutions-focused approach rather than overly theoretical
