About this role: In this role, you will play a role in supporting HR operational processes for Bulgaria, including: Organisation Management, Worker Data Management, Benefits Registration and Collection, Global Mobility, Time Management, Leave of Absences and documentation management (Creating, distributing, archiving), ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and passion for HR will contribute to the success of our HR operations.
Job Responsibility:
Regulatory Compliance & External Relations: Serve as the primary HR representative for local institutional interactions, including the NRA (National Revenue Agency), NSSI (National Social Security Institute), and the Labor Inspectorate, ensuring full adherence to Bulgarian labor laws and statutory reporting requirements
End-to-End HR Lifecycle Management: Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contracting, onboarding, and termination processes, while maintaining meticulous, confidential, and up-to-date personnel records (both physical and digital)
HRIS Data & Payroll Coordination: Maintain high data integrity within the HRIS (Workday), acting as a liaison with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing of compensation, benefits enrollment, and leaves of absence
Cross-Functional Support & Employee Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing employee inquiries regarding HR policies and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders—such as Talent Acquisition and Contact Center agents—to ensure seamless task handovers and operational continuity
Process Improvement & Project Contribution: Take ownership of HR administrative projects and data quality checks, proactively identifying opportunities for process optimization and effectively communicating policies and facts to influence positive outcomes within the organization
Requirements:
Deep Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Bulgarian labor laws, social security regulations, and statutory compliance requirements
demonstrated ability to apply these in a practical, day-to-day work environment
HRIS & Technical Proficiency: Proven experience managing data in modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday) alongside a high level of comfort with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting
Operational Excellence: Strong background in HR operations, with a track record of balancing administrative accuracy with speed. You are naturally detail-oriented and prioritize data integrity in all personnel records
Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written command of both Bulgarian and English. You are capable of explaining complex HR policies to employees clearly and influencing stakeholders across different departments
Discretion & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential personal information with absolute integrity. You approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, proactively identifying roadblocks before they impact the team
