We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our team in North Billerica, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position requiring a proactive individual with strong organizational and administrative skills. As part of our HR department, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and compliance with company policies.
Job Responsibility:
Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, while maintaining accurate records
Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility for prospective employees
Ensure adherence to HR compliance regulations and company policies
Provide administrative support for various HR functions, including maintaining personnel files and updating employee records
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and resolve HR-related issues
Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR documentation, including contracts and notices
Monitor and report on HR metrics to help optimize departmental performance
Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to enhance processes
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources administration or a related role
Knowledge of employee onboarding processes and procedures
Familiarity with conducting background checks and verifying employment eligibility
Understanding of FMLA and other employee leave policies
Strong knowledge of HR compliance standards and regulations
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using HR software and tools
