In the fast-paced world of human resources, the right HR Administrator acts as the backbone of the department, ensuring that data is precise, communication is seamless, and every employee feels supported from their first day.
Job Responsibility:
Assist and respond to internal and external inquiries and forward to the appropriate HR team member for follow up as required
Maintain and update the HRIS with accurate employee data including new hire, wage/salary changes, termination information, etc ...
Support the payroll department by providing relevant employee information as required for new and existing staff
Maintain accurate records and compile statistical reports relating to personnel data (i.e. hires, transfers, vacancy rates, etc.) to support achievement of departmental KPIs
Support the recruitment/hiring process as required by posting ads, arranging interviews, checking references, etc.
Assist with creating, coordinating and facilitating effective onboarding for new employees
Support the development, implementation and administration of HR policies, programs and initiatives
Prepare and compile administrative documents as required
Requirements:
Post secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
At least 2-4 years working in a similar HR role
Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is an asset
Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Ability to establish and leverage positive relationships with key stakeholders
Strong computer skills, with experience in MS Office Suite
Good verbal and written communication skills
Adaptable, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
Strong business ethics and process orientation
HR system with experience in the implementation process
