HR Administrator role with hands-on involvement across core HR functions including recruitment coordination, employee lifecycle administration, and HR systems support for a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate job postings, screen applications, and schedule interviews
Prepare offer letters and contracts
Manage onboarding documentation and induction scheduling
Process new starters, leavers, and contract changes
Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems
Track absences, holidays, and other leave types
Respond to employee queries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
Assist with disciplinary and grievance documentation and meeting coordination
Ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislation
Update and maintain HR databases and digital files
Support monthly reporting and data audits
Assist with payroll input and benefit claims processing
Help coordinate internal communications, surveys, and recognition initiatives
Support HR projects and team meetings with admin and note-taking
Requirements:
Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role
Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g. HRIS, ATS)
