Job Description:

The HPE Aruba APJ Delivery Manager is responsible for growing and driving related professional services revenue for the region and to ensure the projects are delivered with a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition to overseeing the region, your primary role will be to help sell and deliver high-quality networking professional services while working with the Account Executives to identify, drive and close new opportunities. You will be responsible for understanding customers desired business outcomes and help guide the project teams through the pursuit and execution of big projects. You will also participate to ensure a high customer renewal rate through service delivery excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meeting & exceeding professional services bookings and revenue objectives
  • Ensuring that our customers are consistently delighted with the professional services delivery experience
  • Scoping and estimating projects, preparing and presenting proposals and statements of work as well as services contract negotiations
  • Working with customer leaders to communicate the value of HPE Aruba delivery services
  • Maintaining and managing services forecast and ensure streamlined communication with customers and internal resources
  • Working with regional and area sales leaders to ensure our sales teams are supported
  • Drive resolution of delivery challenges, address resource contentions, scoping issues and manage expectations
  • Developing, mentoring and coaching the professional services teams to ensure they are working at the optimum level
  • Help build and grow the HPE Aruba Services presence and impact throughout the region
  • Understands customer at local, country, region & WW level to analyze delivery requirements & contribute to customer strategic business plan
  • Develops strategies and processes with the customer in areas such as performance metrics and measure, escalation change management and communication
  • Owns expense/cost target commitments for all service delivery requirements developing, implementing & monitoring expense controls
  • Identifies incremental revenue opportunities and supports pursuit activities

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding professional services revenue goals
  • At least five years’ experience in leading a technology focused professional services practice
  • Leadership ability to build & manage a cross cultural, cross tower, cross business team
  • Management by influence with international, multi-cultural, virtual teams
  • Proven experience managing business and contract lifecycle for Professional Services and networking offerings
  • Be well acquainted and expert with delivery methodologies and strong project management skills
  • Ability to present either in-person or via virtual sessions to both business and technical teams
  • Must be highly organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS in a technical discipline is desirable
