Job Description:

The role of HPC Technical Consultant involves delivering HPC services to customers in Switzerland, primarily onsite. The consultant will work with supercomputer systems, clusters, and storage systems, troubleshoot issues, and engage with internal teams and third parties to implement solutions. The position requires technical expertise, client relationship management skills, and the readiness to travel.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver HPC services, including both hardware and software, for HPC supercomputer systems, clusters and storage systems
analyze and troubleshoot incidents
collaborate with team members, internal organizations, customers, and third parties
represent HPE in customer communications
travel to European customer sites
research HPC documentation and complete required training

Requirements:

Technical First Level University degree or years of system administration experience
technical knowledge of the overall architecture for HPC products and solutions
analytical and problem-solving skills
client relationship management skills
fluent in Polish and English
experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
knowledge of programming and scripting (e.g., Perl, Python, C++)
general understanding of networking and security
general understanding of storage systems
general understanding of orchestration and automation
B-class driver’s license
