Job Description

The HPC Catalog Application Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership and management of the HPC Catalog application ecosystem. This role will work directly with the current technical owner as a backup and continuity resource, requiring equivalent technical expertise to ensure seamless system maintenance and support. The position includes full-stack development, production deployment, infrastructure management, and comprehensive project documentation across JIRA and Confluence platforms. Beyond maintaining the existing HPC Catalog application, this role will drive the strategic expansion of the HPCCAT platform to other services and departments across the company, adapting and scaling the solution to meet broader organizational needs. A key objective is to build a complete data warehouse for the company's business portfolio, consolidating product lifecycle, financial, and operational data into a unified, enterprise-wide intelligence platform. The ideal candidate will serve as co-technical owner and primary developer, while also leading expansion initiatives to extend these capabilities enterprise-wide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent professional experience (8+ years in software development)

  • Web Services: REST API design and implementation
  • Databases: PostgreSQL (primary), experience with other SQL databases
