Job Description

Could you be the steady hand and friendly face that helps young people in Rhondda Cynon Taff take their next big step toward independence? We are looking to recruit a full-time Support Worker (37hrs pw plus paid sleep in shifts) to be based in our 24/7 supported housing projects in the Pontypridd area, providing emotional & practical support (no personal care) for young men and women aged 16-24 with high level complex needs. The end goal is for the young people to move on into their own accommodation. Shifts will include days, afternoons, evenings, weekends & sleep ins.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Have access to a vehicle
  • Must be able to prove their right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship visas)
  • Subject to an Enhanced (Adult & Child Workforce) DBS disclosure check
