Job Description:

An eager Handyperson who has hands on experience within a trade environment and has knowledge of building construction to join our Housing Maintenance Team. In this role you will ensure all maintenance requests are acted on quickly, safely, and thoroughly, as well as assisting tradespersons in all trade related works when required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the management of the department’s day-to-day operations, in particular cleaning activities, preparation of properties, inventory controls for furniture and associated FF&E
  • Ensure all buildings, fixtures and fittings are maintained and repaired on a timely basis as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Prioritise and attend to urgent repairs as required to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction at all times

Requirements:

  • Current Full Australian Drivers Licence
  • Valid White Card
  • Hands on experience within a trade environment
  • Knowledge of building construction
