Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Social Work or related field
and 8 years of progressively responsible experience in public housing administration, to include management and policy development experience, and 3 years of supervisory experience
and A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Nice to have
Certification as a Public Housing Manager (PHM) or Housing Choice Voucher Executive Manager (HCVEM) through a HUD-recognized program
Experience with mixed-finance development, RAD conversions, or other innovative housing strategies
Experience working within a municipal government structure and familiarity with local government budgeting, procurement, and administrative processes
Familiarity with local housing market conditions and social service organizations
