Job Responsibility

Review financial information for assigned programs, identify variances or irregularities, and deliver clear analysis that supports informed operational and financial decisions
Oversee cash management and investment-related accounting by tracking balances, recording activity, monitoring trends, and coordinating with banking and financial institution partners
Prepare journal entries, month-end and year-end close items, and account reconciliations to ensure the general ledger remains accurate and audit-ready
Support internal and external audit activities by organizing documentation, assisting with audit planning, responding to information requests, and helping resolve accounting questions
Contribute to budget development by compiling financial data, performing supporting analysis, and assisting with projections for programs and projects
Process and reconcile tax-related documentation, including standard and specialized reporting forms, while verifying supporting identification and payment data
