Job Description:

A Legal 500 firm based in North London is seeking a driven and socially committed Housing Paralegal to join their Housing, Social Care, and Public Law department. This department is renowned for achieving justice for vulnerable individuals and is ranked in Chambers and The Legal 500 for its excellence in legal aid work.

Job Responsibility:

Support senior solicitors with a legal aid caseload, including housing disputes, judicial review, welfare benefits, and age assessments
Contribute to preparing case files, legal research, and client liaison, particularly in complex and often urgent matters

Requirements:

Experience in housing, community care, welfare benefits, or public law is desirable
Prior knowledge of legal aid processes is advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Empathetic and committed to working with vulnerable clients
