An award-winning law firm in London is seeking a Housing Paralegal to join their Housing Department. The role involves assisting senior solicitors and handling public and private housing issues like homelessness, disrepair, possession, tenancy disputes, and judicial reviews. Job Responsibility

  • Assisting senior solicitors and directors on public and private housing matters
  • Client contact
  • Preparing documentation
  • Attending court
  • Undertaking legal research
  • Ensuring compliance with legal aid and file management procedures

Requirements

  • A Law degree or equivalent legal qualification (e.g. LPC)
  • Previous experience as a Housing Paralegal or Housing Advisor
  • Understanding of housing legislation and legal aid processes
  • Excellent communication, research, and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Passion for social justice and working with vulnerable clients
