Job Responsibility:
Deliver effective housing management services relating to Tenancy Sustainment, Allocations, Anti-Social Behaviour, Estate Management, Income Management, and Voids
Provide clear information and advice to customers on relevant policies, legislation, and their tenancy obligations
Engage with customers to develop and deliver local services in accordance with Scottish Social Housing Charter requirements
Investigate and respond to customer contacts, including complaints, following the Scottish Public Sector Ombudsman (SPSO) complaints process and internal guidance
Help to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships with stakeholders and partners
Assist in the development and application of relevant policies, procedures, and best practices
Ensure all duties are carried out in line with the organisation's values and policies
Requirements:
Achieved or actively working towards a Housing HNC or equivalent qualification
Educated at least to Higher grade
Several year's experience working in a customer-focused environment
Minimum of 2 year's relevant experience within housing management, tenancy support, and/or allocations
Experience in managing challenging situations with resilience, flexibility, and confidence
Current and full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
ability to travel independently across various locations within the area
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
Good understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and good practice within social housing
Proficiency in managing complaints and resolving conflicts professionally
