Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional to lead a frontline Housing Needs team delivering high-quality homelessness prevention and assessment services. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for one of five teams, ensuring the delivery of legally compliant statutory assessments under the Housing Act 1996, while driving a strong prevention-focused, customer-first approach. You will play a key role in shaping and improving the service – managing complex cases, responding to legislative and policy changes and embedding innovative ways of working. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will maximise positive outcomes for residents and lead on enforcement responsibilities linked to the Renters’ Rights Act, ensuring both tenants’ rights are protected and landlords meet their obligations.
