Job Description

Our local authority client based in London is seeking a Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their team on a 12-month contract, with potential for extension. This role offers hybrid working with just one office attendance per month. The successful candidate will manage a varied housing caseload including homelessness, possession proceedings, housing disrepair matters, and providing general housing law advice. The client is looking for someone to start within the next month, with interviews taking place next week. The role is offered on a 30–36 hour per week basis. Previous local authority experience is preferred, though candidates from private practice with strong housing experience will also be considered.
