Job Description:

A non-profit organization in Downtown Pittsburgh needs a temporary Housing Application Specialist. The Housing Application Specialist is Hybrid after training.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist individuals at the Supportive Housing DT with completing housing applications
  • Receive and log housing applications, ensuring all information is accurately recorded
  • Verify applicant documentation, including bank statements, pay stubs, rent receipts, and other proof of income
  • Review applications to assess debt-to-income ratios and eligibility for housing programs

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with data verification or document review preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with applicants, landlords, and colleagues
  • Familiarity with housing program requirements and financial documentation is a plus
