Responsible for stripping vacant units of used linens and removal of the trash. Assist in Quality Control.
Job Responsibility:
Strips all dirty linen from the units
Collect soiled linen for laundry and restock clean linen
Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Reports maintenance problems to supervisor
Cleans and organizes laundry room
Performs duties in other areas of the resort as assigned
Always conducts themselves in a professional manner
Follow all rules and regulations set forth in the latest Employee Handbook
Works weekends and holidays as needed
Participate in all required health and safety meetings/classes
Requirements:
Up to one month of related experience or training required
Ability to read (in English) a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
Ability to understand and speak Basic English sentences
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
Ability to perform physical tasks in a responsible manner
Ability to take direction from Housekeeping Supervisor and General Manager
