Job Description

The Four Seasons Hotel Miami is looking for a Housekeeping Turndown Attendant who share a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. Job Responsibility

  • Provides a comfortable evening environment in Guest Rooms by cleaning and refreshing the room in the early evening and preparing the room for the guest to sleep in
  • Has a set number of occupied rooms to clean during a shift
  • Removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the Linen Closet
  • Wipes down any wet services in the bathroom
  • Folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot
  • Removes Room Service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
  • Closes drapes, reduces lighting, turn music on softly and prepares bed
  • Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens
  • Prepares unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests
  • Performs full Room Attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed
  • Comply with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Requirements

  • Must be able to work all shifts including AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed accuracy, follow through, and work with a minimum supervision
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English
  • Ability to exert physical effort consistent with cleaning assigned rooms as per the hotel standards
  • Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop
  • push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is strongly preferred
