Job Responsibility

  • Maintain supplies and clean all public areas of the hotel including staff areas as assigned by monument
  • Maintain and clean the public washrooms
  • Dust all tables, lamps and ledges in all public areas and corridors
  • Clean all glass doors and mirrors in public areas
  • Assist guests by answering questions
  • Dust all marble in lobby and all surfaces
  • Clean telephones
  • Make routine checks of all public areas to ensure cleanliness and neatness
  • Empty ashtrays and keep sand clean
  • Make out work orders for any deficiencies and bring them to the Housekeeping Department
  • Check guest elevators regularly, clean carpets, mirrors, and polish brass as required
  • Keeps all villa sidewalks/patio areas neat, swept and mopped
  • Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean, organized and tidy
  • Moves racks of clean Rooms linen to Guest Room floors
  • Stocks Linen Storage Rooms daily with supplies and amenities
  • Empties trash and dirty linen from guest villas
  • Helps move beds, furniture, turns mattresses, removes or hangs sheers and drapes
  • Assists the Housekeeping team as required
  • Cleans and performs turndown services in guest rooms
  • Closes drapes, reduces lighting, turns music on, and prepares bed
  • Restocks towels and used amenities
  • Prepared unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests
  • Interact with guests making them feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent experiences
  • Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in Housekeeping or equivalent with Four Seasons or another organization
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge and ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • Ability to understand and working knowledge of English
  • Hold a valid driving license in order to operate golf carts and have a clean driving record
  • Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts

  • Assist with all aspects of the housekeeping department at the hotels, including the cleaning and restocking of guest rooms, lobbies, guest hallways, laundry, the Health Club, and other areas of the hotel
  • Use provided task checklists, daily priority assignments, and communication tools to ensure that all areas are meticulously cleaned with efficiency
  • Work and communicate effectively with fellow Team Members and Managers
  • Fulfill schedule commitments, be on time and prepared for work, and accept daily assignments with a positive can-do attitude
  • Be proactive in helping during high occupancy times, willing to take on more responsibilities or pick up shifts as needed
  • Provide welcoming and accurate services to guests during their stay, including delivery of amenities, in-room cleaning, and communicating with guests, both children and adults, to answer questions about the resort and hotels
  • Commitment to becoming a skilled housekeeping team member
