Job Description:

The Housekeeping Team Leader at Atlanta Marriott Marquis oversees cleanliness and housekeeping operations, assists management with hiring and training, and ensures guest satisfaction. The role includes inspecting rooms, maintaining safety standards, responding to guest needs, and promoting efficiency and quality in operations.

Job Responsibility:

Enter and update room status
complete checklists for cleanliness
conduct room inspections
respond to guest service needs
assist in hiring and managing team members
ensure uniform and appearance standards
report maintenance and safety issues
promote efficiency and productivity
develop positive team relationships
assist individuals with disabilities
follow safety guidelines

Requirements:

Enter status of rooms cleaned
complete checklists to report cleanliness and condition
identify room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room
inspect guest rooms after cleaning
respond promptly to guest requests
assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
follow company safety and security policies
complete safety training and certifications
lift and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds
use computers or point of sale systems
high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
