We are seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This pivotal role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our client premises, supporting the overall success of Kanso Facilities Management. The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead and manage a team of housekeeping operatives, ensuring all duties are performed efficiently and to the required standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service within the Catering & Hospitality sector.
Job Responsibility
Supervise, motivate, and support the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas
Plan, organise, and allocate daily workloads, ensuring all tasks are completed within set timeframes
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
Provide training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff to enhance performance and career growth
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability
Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly to relevant departments
Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to address any service issues or special requirements
Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with relevant regulations, including COSHH and infection control protocols
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping, preferably in Catering & Hospitality or a related sector
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational and time management abilities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH and infection control standards
Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain meticulous records
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays as required
Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
