Job Responsibility

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards
Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms
Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities
Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments
Communicate issues to next shift
Complete required paperwork
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures

Job Responsibility

Inspect public areas and ensure quality standards are met
Update the status of tasks on GXP
Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure operational efficiency
Be a role model within the department, assisting the team to perform their role when required
Take ownership of guest issues and see them through to resolution
Train Room Attendants, Public Area and Porters to become experts in their role
Supervise the daily operation of the Style (Housekeeping) department
Communicate and coordinate between Style, Welcome Office (Front Office) and Engineering to ensure any guest or maintenance issues are logged and resolved
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety protocols
Develop teamwork throughout your team as it grows
