Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to support the Head Housekeeper to deliver an exceptional experience with respect of all aspects of housekeeping and customer service standards to the guests that visit our beautiful property located on stunning Lake Windermere. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support and deputise for the Head Housekeeper and support the Senior Management team to deliver five-star service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Head Housekeeper in the cleanliness and presentation of guest bedrooms and public areas
  • Assist with the organisation and implementation of deep cleaning schedules
  • Effective communication with the reception team to ensure return of ‘ready rooms’ at the earliest opportunity
  • Service and presentation of guest bedrooms
  • Understand, control, and monitor linen stocks, liaising with linen hire Company
  • Assist with the co-ordination of rotas and departmental team members
  • Support with the recruitment, selection, and induction process for all housekeeping team members
  • Deputise for the Head Housekeeper in their absence

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience working in a high quality Five-Star hotel in a Housekeeping role
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Genuine passion for providing warm hospitality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner
