The Housekeeping Supervisor coordinates, inspects, and ensures the daily cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas. This role provides direction, training, and support to housekeepers and floor attendants, ensuring Marriott brand standards are met while fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assign daily cleaning tasks and special projects to housekeeping staff
Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation standards
Provide feedback, coaching, and on-the-job training to team members
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities
Assist with cleaning rooms and public spaces during high occupancy or staffing shortages
Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally
Report and follow up on maintenance issues
Ensure all staff follow proper safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals correctly
Support the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of previous housekeeping or hospitality supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
