The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the resort. This position supervises Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and Housekeeping Runners while conducting inspections, providing training, and assisting with scheduling and inventory. The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures all guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces reflect the exceptional quality and service standards of the Dellshire Resort.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and support housekeeping staff to ensure efficient daily operations and adherence to resort cleanliness standards
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation
Coordinate daily assignments and ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks and guest requests
Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver excellent guest service and attention to detail
Communicate room status updates, maintenance issues, and priorities with the Front Office and Engineering teams
Monitor and maintain housekeeping supply inventory, ensuring stock levels align with business needs and budget goals
Assist in managing labor hours and scheduling in accordance with occupancy levels
Ensure all housekeeping associates follow safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
Address guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally, escalating as needed to management
Support deep cleaning projects, special assignments, and quality audits as directed
Promote Dellshire Resort’s brand values, sustainability initiatives, and culture of excellence through daily leadership
Complete necessary administrative reports including inspection forms, performance notes, and attendance tracking
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
coursework or certification in hospitality or operations management preferred
Minimum 2 years of housekeeping or hotel operations experience
1 year in a supervisory or lead role preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and chemical use
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management or housekeeping systems (Opera, HotSOS, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor with a strong attention to detail
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts based on business needs
