The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall comfort of guest rooms and assigned public areas. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming and positive guest experience by ensuring rooms meet brand and hotel cleanliness standards.
Job Responsibility:
Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities
Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety concerns
report any issues promptly
Follow established cleaning procedures and brand standards consistently
Handle guest requests and interactions in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies are stocked and organized
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
Assist with laundry or public area cleaning as needed
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–30 lbs throughout the shift
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction
