Job Description:

At Cedar Point, work is FUN! Working in a housekeeping role means you will ensure the guest checks into a clean room and give memorable service to each guest you encounter.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry dirty linens from guest rooms to the laundry area for processing
  • Clean with a variety of chemicals to ensure cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas
  • Use a vacuum daily to maintain floors
  • Collect trash from containers, pick up trash items in hotel rooms, and public areas
  • Make beds ensuring a neat, presentable appearance
  • Restock supplies, such as shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc. in guest rooms and storage areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines
  • Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards
  • Responsible for cleaning of all common areas within the Resort, public spaces, mopping and sweeping floors, vacuuming, and dusting

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Able to push-pull a cart 100lbs with assistance
  • Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including: days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
