Job Description:

We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to manage a team of Cleaners/Housekeepers at a luxury holiday park in Hexham. You’ll be responsible for leading and supporting the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the park.

Job Responsibility:

Managing the housekeeping team to ensure all accommodation meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Handling guest complaints professionally and implementing improvements where needed
Coordinating with the maintenance team to resolve any issues within accommodation units
Liaising with Head Office and your Operations Manager to complete admin tasks and ensure stock levels are maintained
Managing staff rotas in line with arrivals and departures to ensure sufficient cover
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department and ensuring all cleans are completed before the 4pm check-in deadline
Supporting the resort’s senior management team to deliver excellent guest experiences
Carrying out general administrative duties as required

Requirements:

Has experience managing a housekeeping team, ideally in a holiday park or hotel setting
Is confident managing people, rotas, and deadlines
Is computer literate, with basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Has excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Delivers high standards of customer service
Takes responsibility for their own performance and team development
You will need your own transport to get to the site, and a full driving licence is required

Nice to have:

Supervisory: 1 year
Housekeeping management or assistant manager experience
