Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is looking for a Housekeeping Manager in Training (MIT) who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The Housekeeping MIT reports to the Assistant Director of Rooms. We are looking for an energetic, hospitality professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and people.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cross train throughout the Housekeeping Department over a 12 to 18 month period
  • Develop necessary supervisory and leadership skills in order to step into an assistant manager role at the end of the program
  • Deliver an exceptional experience and develop key leadership skills

Requirements:

  • Upcoming or recent graduate from a Hospitality Management post-secondary program an asset (graduates from all disciplines will be considered)
  • Minimum one to two years’ experience within the hospitality or applicable service industry
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership experience through work, extra curriculars and/or studies
  • Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service
  • Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in Canada
  • Passion to grow and develop within the industry and Four Seasons brand
  • Strong command of the english language
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Willing to accept assignments on a as need basis, in order to promote team work
  • Comfortable with computer systems
