If so, we are looking for a Housekeeping Lead to join our team at Brookings Property Management. This is a new full-time position for someone who is dedicated to doing the job right and enjoys setting the standard through their own actions. The Housekeeping Lead is a hands-on role focused on keeping our properties clean, safe, and welcoming. This person takes initiative, notices details that matter, and leads by example in their daily work. By partnering with the property management team, the Housekeeping Lead helps create positive environments where tenants feel comfortable and valued. We are willing to train the right applicant.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and coordinate the housekeeping team across multiple properties
Actively works alongside the team to ensure common areas and tenant unit turnovers are cleaned thoroughly and on schedule
Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and vent cleaning
Inspects the work of others to ensure cleaning tasks meet the company’s high-quality standards
Occasionally assists with heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
Communicates needed repairs and/or housekeeping issues to management
Stocks, organizes, and maintains the cleaning supply rooms
Follows all health and safety guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
3+ years prior housekeeping experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Nice to have:
Previous experience in a lead, mentor, or team-support role preferred
