Job Description

The Hilton Austin Airport is seeking a Housekeeping Houseman to join our dedicated housekeeping team. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall guest experience throughout the hotel.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, restrooms, and back-of-house areas
  • Assist housekeeping attendants by delivering linens, towels, and supplies to guest floors
  • Collect and transport soiled linens to the laundry area
  • Remove trash and recyclables from guest floors and service areas
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest service requests
  • Clean and maintain storage rooms, housekeeping carts, and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management
  • Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and health standards at all times
  • Support hotel operations as needed during peak occupancy

Requirements

  • Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Professional attitude and positive customer service mindset
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping
  • Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
