Housekeeping Floor Care Specialist

• Trained and can perform all the tasks of the Custodial Worker Job Description
• Trained to strip and refinish all types of hard surface floors
• Trained to scrub and refinish all types of hard surface floors
• Trained to spot clean and extract all types of carpeted surfaces and upholstery
• Trained to operate housekeeping equipment such as walk behind and riding auto scrubbers safety and efficiently in accordance with established procedures
• Will be responsible for daily corridor maintenance, consisting of dust mopping, spot mopping and auto scrubbing corridors and lobby areas
• Cleans equipment before returning it to storage area
• Reports equipment in need of repair to supervisor
• Report safety hazards
• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department

• 1 or more years of housekeeping experience
• Ability to operate handheld communication devices for communication with dispatch
• Ability to perform operations with units such as cup, pint, quart and ounce, inch, foot and yard

High School Graduate or GED
