Job Description:

This job involves coordinating daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms meet cleanliness standards, and addressing guest service needs. You will work as part of the luxury-oriented Ritz-Carlton team, exemplifying the Gold Standards and maintaining the highest level of service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations
  • listen and respond to the concerns of other employees
  • support team to reach common goals
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • prepare and review written documents accurately
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • Run sold room reports
  • verify room status
  • determine discrepant rooms
  • prioritize room cleaning
  • update status of departing guest rooms
  • assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities
  • act as a liaison to coordinate efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
  • document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
  • prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff
  • record, monitor, and update list of ‘Do Not Disturb’ rooms
  • ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned on time
  • assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ list
  • complete required Housekeeping paperwork
  • follow company and safety/security policies and procedures
  • report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • enter and locate work-related information using computers
  • stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

Nice to have:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience.
