Job Description

Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is looking for a motivated and energetic Housekeeping Attendant to service the Rooms, who shares a passion for providing excellent service. Housekeeping Attendant is an essential member of the Rooms Division team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Housekeeping team works tirelessly behind the scenes making sure that every Guest Room and Public Area is impeccable at all times.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain cleanliness of all guest rooms and/or private residences (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning surfaces)
  • Monitor guestroom equipment to ensure all items are in working order
  • Complete assigned number of rooms to clean during a shift
  • Participate in detail cleaning of guestrooms as assigned (Perfect Room Program)
  • Remove and replace dirty towels and sheets
  • Sanitize all areas of the guestroom (bedroom, living room, dining room, bathroom, kitchen) according to procedure
  • Make bed
  • Remove room service trays, dishes, and carts to service landings
  • Stock guestroom linen in appropriate storage areas on guest floors
  • Retrieve and deliver guest requests as needed
  • Replenish guest amenities
  • Refill coffee/tea supplies and mini-bar items
  • Place rooms in turndown status as assigned
  • Inspect and release own rooms, ensuring adherence to all standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in an international hotel or resort
  • Must speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have the right to work in Malaysia
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Comfortable around chemicals and machines with the ability to learn their operation
  • Firm knowledge of housekeeping operations
