Job Description:

This role at Marriott St. Louis Grand involves performing housekeeping duties such as cleaning rooms, replacing amenities, and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
Make beds and clean bathrooms
Remove trash and room service items
Dust and polish room furnishings
Ensure uniform and appearance are professional
Welcome and assist guests according to company standards
Report maintenance problems and ensure safety adherence
Support team to reach goals.

Requirements:

Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area
Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy
Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
Make beds and fold terry
Clean bathrooms
Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items
Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order
Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Complete safety training and certifications
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Be able to lift and move objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance or over 25 pounds with assistance
Push and pull housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
Perform extended periods of standing, kneeling, walking, reaching, bending, and twisting.
