We are looking for a reliable and caring Housekeeping Assistant to join our team and help maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming environments across our villages. Job Responsibility:
Cleaning designated areas, ensuring they are kept tidy, hygienic, and welcoming
Carrying out housekeeping duties within residents’ homes with care and discretion
Maintaining communal areas so they are consistently neat, tidy, and well presented
Cleaning floors, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and polishing furniture and woodwork
Emptying and relining waste bins, following correct disposal procedures
Cleaning windows and glass surfaces within reach
Carrying out laundry duties efficiently and to a high standard
Adhering to COSHH regulations and maintaining a safe working environment at all time
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Housekeeping Assistant, Housekeeper, or Cleaner
Self-motivated, personable, and able to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitors
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to respond to changing priorities and shift patterns
A basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards is desirable, though full training will be provided
