Job Description:

Do you have experience in working as a clearer or as a housekeeper? KIMS Hospital is a state-of-the-art hospital which you could help keep up to scratch every day for our patients. Job Responsibility:

  • To provide a high-quality housekeeping service to all areas including patient rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring that excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene are both achieved and maintained
  • Support the housekeeping team in delivering of excellent patient service across all areas and departments of the hospital
  • To work within infection control guidelines at all times when working within clinical areas of the hospital
  • Ensure cleaning materials are used according to the relevant COSHH requirements

Requirements:

  • Have previous housekeeping / cleaning experience within a similar environment
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess some knowledge of COSHH, the guidelines that surround this legislation and how these would be applied within a clinical setting
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach, responding to the needs of the department
  • Be a good team player
