As a Housekeeping Assistant with Meallmore, you will play a key role in creating a clean, tidy and welcoming home, making a meaningful difference to the comfort and wellbeing of our residents, visitors, and colleagues. You will ideally bring experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, along with a basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards. However, if you’re new to this type of role, full training will be provided.
Job Responsibility
Ensuring that residents' care home facilities, public areas and rooms are maintained to the highest cleaning standards
replenish and maintain supplies in both resident rooms and common areas
take care of residents’ laundry with attention and care ensuring items are washed, dried, ironed, and put away neatly
communicate effectively with residents and colleagues to address needs and concerns
