Job Description:

Housekeeping Assistant role at Advinia Healthcare, a provider of high quality, person-centred care for older people for over 25 years. The role is part of the B Happie theme aiming to create an environment where residents and staff feel valued, respected and happy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensuring sections of bedrooms, corridor and public areas are kept clean and tidy to the required standard
  • Daily Cleaning: emptying waste bins, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning dining rooms/lounges/lavatories, cleaning taps and sinks, spot cleaning all floorings
  • Weekly Cleaning: polishing all mirrors, dusting handrails and radiators, dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills, washing floors, dusting pictures, dusting light bulbs and fittings
  • Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc.
  • Efficient and economical use of supplies
  • Assisting with Linen Room duties when requested
  • Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and stocked up at all times
