As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that both residents’ homes and communal areas are kept clean to a high standard. Your attention to detail, pride in your work, and friendly approach will help create a safe, tidy, and inviting space for everyone who lives and visits here.
Job Responsibility:
Cleaning designated areas, ensuring they are kept tidy, hygienic, and welcoming
Carrying out housekeeping duties within residents’ homes with care and discretion
Maintaining communal areas so they are consistently neat, tidy, and well presented
Cleaning floors, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and polishing furniture and woodwork
Emptying and relining waste bins, following correct disposal procedures
Cleaning windows and glass surfaces within reach
Carrying out laundry duties efficiently and to a high standard
Adhering to COSHH regulations and maintaining a safe working environment at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Housekeeping Assistant or Housekeeper in a 4* hotel setting
Self-motivated, personable, and able to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitors
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to respond to changing priorities and shift patterns
A basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards is desirable, though full training will be provided
