Job Description:

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant Manager who is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Housekeeping Assistant Manager manages a shift of the Housekeeping staff to assure that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to exacting standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervises employees of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments while Overseeing the day-to-day operations
  • Interviews, trains, and schedules employees. As well as conducts performance evaluations and disciplines employees when needed
  • Conducts orientation & tracks training of new employees, insuring assimilation of company policies, company service standards, laundry procedures, and demonstrating use and maintenance of equipment, including safely operating those machines as well as proper chemical knowledge and use
  • Monitors daily assignments to assure that productivity and quality standards are being met, staff is being supported and guest needs are being met
  • Ensure communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements
  • Resolve guest complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • Create a motivating work environment
  • Conduct daily briefing meetings sharing information on upcoming arrivals, owner requirements, glitches and any other informational items needed to ensure the operation is efficient, quality and productive

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This will include any day of the week, all shifts, and holidays
  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience
  • Tech savvy with Excel and systems. Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
  • Ability to read and speak English in a clear manner. Spanish is a plus
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
