Job Description:

Housekeeper position performing scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces at The Westin Reserva Conchal All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa. Responsibilities include various cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure guest satisfaction and property standards.

Job Responsibility:

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces
Flip mattresses, vacuum behind and underneath furniture, deep clean carpet
Perform touch-up painting, dusting, cleaning bathrooms
Ensure all appliances are present in the room and in working order
Clean and replace light fixtures
Inspect grout and caulking
Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces
Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment
Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls
Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to manager/supervisor
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Less than 1 year related work experience
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
