Anabas is a dynamic national Facilities Management provider, supporting corporate office occupiers in delivering exceptional workplace experiences for their employees and customers. We are seeking proactive and committed Housekeepers to join the Anabas team. As Housekeeper for our prestigious client, you will deliver a world-class, high-quality workplace experience across a high-profile office environment. As an integral role in maintaining high standards of the office environment, you will provide a range of cleaning services conforming to established processes and standards of excellence, and support the Facilities Team where required, including light porterage duties such as assisting with office moves, reconfiguring workstations, setting up meeting rooms and events, and supporting catering and facilities requirements as needed. The position holder will be expected to proactively and positively take charge of Housekeeper services and the assigned responsibilities and tasks, ensuring client expectations are exceeded in the delivery of building cleanliness and presentation throughout the working day. This is a full-time, permanent position (37 hours per week £14.80 per hour) in London. Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 10:00am – 6:00pm, and Friday: 10:00am – 3:00pm.
Job Responsibility
Take ownership and responsibility in providing an exceptional service to our clients ensuring a 5-star service is experienced by all.
Clean all areas throughout the day providing a clean and fresh environment at all times.
Waste removal – ensuring general, dry mixed recycling, and food waste is collated and reported on.
If applicable - ensure all dishwashers are in working order and reported if not.
Ensure any kitchenettes in social spaces and the main cafe area (if applicable) have a stock of glasses and mugs throughout the day.
Report any issues to your line manager in a timely manner.
Spot clean carpets and flooring using specialist kits provided.
Clean and tidy meeting rooms after use, when accessible.
Ensure specific attention is made to high traffic areas, reception, client meeting room, executive areas, for example.
Supporting other roles, to ensure a one team approach.
Provide a point of contact for any facilities related queries, taking ownership and providing feedback to your line manager.
Raising operational concerns immediately, with your line manager.
Take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and that of others, ensuring you comply with all Health & Safety procedures.
Work in line with the Equality & Diversity policy and report any incidents that are against the spirit of an inclusive work environment.
Carry out all responsibilities using the Anabas values as he basis of your day-to-day actions.
Support all company policies, ensuring full compliance with the procedures that accompany these.
Participate in the staff appraisal and development opportunities, one to one performance discussion and attend identified training to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
Porterage and event support duties – assist with porterage tasks including moving chairs, reconfiguring desks, supporting room setups, and assisting catering teams during events as required.
