Job Description:

The primary purpose of the Housekeeper is to ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for the residents, families, visitors and staff. Tasks included daily work assignments such as cleaning and polishing furnishings, fixtures, ledges, in resident rooms, recreational areas; sweeping, mopping, disinfecting floors and vacuuming, shampooing and deodorizing carpets within the facility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for the residents, families, visitors and staff
  • Cleaning and polishing furnishings, fixtures, ledges, in resident rooms, recreational areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, disinfecting floors
  • Vacuuming, shampooing and deodorizing carpets within the facility.

Requirements:

  • Housekeeping experience preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Must be able to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism
  • Must possess the ability to deliver exceptional customer service when interacting with residents, visitors, family members and employees.
