Job Description

Housekeeper at Astley View Care Home, Chorley, Lancashire. Full time, 29.75 hours per week. Hourly Pay: £13.45. Do you want to work within a luxury care provider? Evermore Care are currently looking for passionate and dedicated Housekeeper to join our beautiful BRAND NEW service Astley View in Chorley Lancashire. We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper who wants to ensure that the health and safety of the staff and residents are at the forefront of every decision made.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with specific cleaning guidelines and schedules
  • Check all areas of the service are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the Head Housekeeper of any shortages
  • Identity and report damages, faults, and other related issues to the Head Housekeeper and maintenance department

Requirements

  • Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from agreed start date
  • Knowledge and experience of working within a care home
  • Understanding of supervisions and creating rotas
  • Knowledge of managing and running a team
  • Experience in ordering stock as well carrying out monthly stock checks
